Sports betting and iGaming software provider Digitain has signed an agreement to provide its sportsbook solution to Pin-Up, a licensed Russian operator.

“This is an exciting deal for us-Pin-Up is a fantastic new partner with two sportsboos, one for Russian customers and the other has an international focus, and combined over 100,000 customers,” Edmund Ghulyan, head of sportsbook development for Digitain, said.

“Digitain looks forward to developing a very long and beneficial partnership,” he added.

Vladimir Gorve, Pin-Up’s chief operating officer, added:

“We’re delighted to partner with Digitain and feel sure that integrating their fully featured sports betting offering will be warmly welcomed by our customers.”

Russia’s online gambling market has been liberalizing in recent years, moving from a system which initially only allowed land-based casinos, to one which eventually allowed online bookmakers to offer their products legally.

The introduction of interactive betting legislation in 2014 created a legal method for online bookmaking. In 2019, the legal status of the interactive bet was confirmed, and the system is now fully operational.
