Buenos Aires, Argentina –Premier gaming software provider Play’n GO was granted accreditation from the Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), the city’s gaming regulator, to offer online slot games to licensed operators in the country’s capital.

The supplier was already granted accreditation in the province of Buenos Aires and is now allowed to provide products across Argentina’s largest and most populous province.

According to Play’n GO, its new accreditation provides a guarantee that any operators currently partnered witht hem can expand into Buenos Aires. They can be assured in the knowledge that they can continue to offer Play’n GO content in the market.

“Our strategy remains to engage in every regulated jurisdiction with diligence and care,” Sissel Weitzhandler, chief risk and compliance officer for Play’n GO, said.

“The speed at which Argentina is re-regulating is very positive and we are looking forward to supporting our partners as they enter this newly regulated and exciting marketplace,” he added.

Cristian Acuna, head of sales in Latin America, also commented:

“We know that the eyes of the LatAm region will be watching Buenos Aires closely, but we are confident that our wide and varied portfolio of content will resonate strongly with players.

“Thanks to our experience in Latin America, we know that what players in Argentina enjoy will be different from players in Colombia, Peru, or Mexico. Operators can’t take a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to Latin America, and we don’t either.”

Provinces in Argentina are currently working on regulating online gambling on an individual basis.
