iGaming market leader Playtech has signed a partnership with AMC Networks giving it exclusive rights to produce a number of branded igaming titles.

The partnership, praised as an “unprecendented agreement”, forms a “key pillar” of Playtech’s global branded content strategy.

“The Walking Dead is a once-in-a-generation franchise, and we look forward to delivering best-in-class games true to the loyal and passionate audience,” Aaron Berndtson, Playtech’s head of strategic partnership and entertainment, said.

“Additionally, to partner on the iconic Bridezillas and Marriage Boot Camp brands, which have been part of the lexicon for years, complements our branded content strategy to deliver the most engaging entertainment experience in the market. We cannot wait to start working together with AMC Networks to bring these products to life,” he added.

This multi-title gaming partnership will see Playtech develop and distribute online gambling experiences based on several hit series’, including AMC’s The Walking Dead and WE TV’s Bridezillas and also the Marriage Boot Camp franchise.

“From undead hordes of flesh-eating walkers to an army of enraged brides, AMC Networks is home to some of the most explosive dramas on television,” Clayton Neuman, AMC Networks VP of Games, said.

“We are delighted to partner with Playtech to deliver that same action and excitement from our iconic brands for the first time in a world-class online gaming experience,” he added.

Playtech’s chief operating officer Shimon Akad also commented on the partnership, saying:
